The long term goal of the project is to contribute to the methodology
and support system in the industrial development
of complex, adequate, and reliable
systems with focus on the establishment of the early shared understanding of
concepts and system architecture and behavior. The initial effort will be on:
packaging our findings
(in system architecture, software reuse, team learning,
sysetm modeling and behavior visualization/animation)
from our previous and
on-going projects (knowledge transfer from university to industry)
identify needs in the real development processes not covered by existing/known
methods and tools (case studies, knowledge transfer to university)
introduce and evaluate new methods and support systems for the establishment
of a shared early understanding withing the development teams and external
parties of what a system should do, why, and how to achieve this.
(actiuon researcrh, development of new shared understanding)
This understanding can be supported by, but never replaced by, methodology and support
